Sculpture & 2-D work
In this piece, I wanted to paint and build an expression of love for my husband. I was also interested in creating lace on a large scale, out of wood. I enjoyed the mathematical challenge of having to translate the small proportions of a small lace doily, to a larger scale. I cut it with a jigsaw in our dining room, before my husband I had a studio outside our home.
